Training day at the UMMD
Under the motto ‘Project: Future’, interested parties on the UMMD campus and in the training centre for healthcare professions had the opportunity to find out about the wide range of training opportunities at Magdeburg University Hospital. From training in surgical and anaesthesia technology assistance, medical technologists for laboratory analysis or radiology, to nursing training and the dual study programme for midwives - there was something suitable for everyone. Apprenticeships were also on offer in the areas of dual training, such as for healthcare clerks or warehouse logistics specialists.
In addition to direct dialogue with employees and trainees, there were numerous opportunities to actively participate in practical exercises. Whether it was resuscitation training, applying bandages or determining a blood group - all participants had the chance to gain their first practical experience.
Visitors were also able to take a look behind the scenes at the University Hospital on guided tours. Many used this opportunity to gain an insight into the processes of the paediatric clinic, the operating theatre or the central warehouse.
A large number of visitors were welcomed at both sites. The day offered exciting insights, informative dialogue and stimulating discussions.
Another training day is planned for next year - be part of it!
