April 20, 2026 - Prof. Michael Kreißl, MD, of UMMD has been appointed Chair of the Thyroid & Endocrine Committee of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM). He is now part of the leadership of the world’s largest professional association for nuclear medicine and plays a key role in shaping the international advancement of diagnostics and therapy in thyroid and endocrine nuclear medicine.

April 15, 2026 - On September 1, 2026, the Intensive Care Day will bring together professionals from the fields of nursing, therapy, and medicine to exchange ideas, share practical knowledge, and gain new insights. A diverse program featuring lectures, workshops, and hands-on sessions will run throughout the day. The event will take place in the lecture hall in Building 7 on the campus of Magdeburg University Hospital.
